KPL ROUND 2 SCORES: Hard-fought victory for Kariobangi Sharks
Kariobangi Sharks picked a 3-2 win against Ulinzi Stars in their round 2 action played this afternoon at the MISC Kasarani Annex.
Ulinzi Stars had made a dream start to the contest with Boniface Muchiri’s precise finish into the bottom corner in the 30th minute of the game. Kevin Munika equalised for the hosts six minutes after the restart, converting a freekick that went in from a deflection off Ulinzi stars player to make it 1-1.
Fortune Omoto made it two for Kariobangi Sharks with a fine header in the 42nd minute .Tyson Otieno extended the lead for the hosts in the brink of halftime, sending the ball at the top right corner with a cool finish . Hillary Simiyu pulled one back for the visitors in the 71st minute to make it 3-2.
The defeat is the second of the season for Ulinzi Stars, while Kariobangi Sharks have registered a draw and win of their two league games this season
