Harvest Weekend in the Women Division One Zone A.
t has been a harvest weekend for teams in the Women Division One Zone A League. Soccer Sisters enjoyed the better harvest of points as they had two matches slated at the Coast for Saturday and Sunday where they managed a total of six points respectively.
In their first match on Saturday they played Fortune Ladies Fc and won 1-0. In the second match on Sunday they played Coast Starlets and again won by 1-0. What an outing they had.
On the other hand, down the Coast, Mathare United Women Fc managed only a point to bring back home. They drew 0-0 against Coast Starlets on Saturday. On Sunday they lost to MTG UNITED by a goal.
In the Coast derby MTG United hosted Mombasa Olympic. Olympic won the game by 2 goals to nil.
