The Kenya Women Premier League defending champions,Kenya Police Bullets Fc, seem to be back on it probably on for another title this season.

After their first match at home, they travelled away to Luanda where they played against Bunyore Starlets in a tough match one of it’s own kind. The first half was full of show but no goals to break the deadlock as both teams played cautiously forcing the match to head to the break on a barren draw.

Then came the second half, just 5 minutes after the break, Mercy Njeri of Police Bullets was the first to get on the referees note book not for a card booking but as a goal scorer. At the 66th minute mark, Becky Okwaro the Police Bullets striker scored the second goal of the match that seemed and later proved to be the last nail on the Bunyore Starlets burial casket.
